Questions

Before you ask.

What counts as translation time?: Time while Foniks is actively translating in either direction during a call. Pausing or stopping a session stops the clock. Hours are pooled across your workspace, so light users balance out heavy ones.
What happens if we run out of hours?: Admins choose: keep going at $5 per extra hour, billed with your next invoice, or stop at the cap. We email admins at 80% and 100%.
Which call apps does it work with?: Foniks runs beside your call app and appears to it as a microphone, so it works with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex, Slack huddles and most desktop calling apps. No plugin or bot joins the call.
Do you store our conversations?: No. Audio and transcripts are not stored by default. We keep timing and usage counters for billing, never what was said.
Can we change plans or seats later?: Yes. Add seats any time and you pay the prorated difference. Removing seats takes effect at the next renewal.
Do you offer discounts?: Yearly billing saves about 17% compared to monthly. For nonprofit, education or volume pricing, contact sales.
