No call audio to translate
Translate what I hear is on, but Foniks has no source for the other side of the call.
How to fix it
- In Settings, set Call audio comes from to This computer’s sound, or to a second virtual cable.
- If you use a second cable, set it as the speaker in your call app.
- If you only need your own voice translated, turn off Translate what I hear.
On a Mac
- The second cable is BlackHole 16ch: choose it as the speaker in your call app and in Foniks.
On Windows
- The second cable is CABLE-A: choose CABLE-A Input as the speaker in your call app and CABLE-A Output in Foniks.
Still not working?
In the app, open the menu and choose Run diagnostics, then Copy results, and email them to hello@foniks.ai.
